How Does Magnify.net Count Page Views?

Page views are calculated on monthly billing cycles. A page view is counted whenever a visitor to a Magnify channel loads a page served by Magnify.net. We don't count pages viewed within the admin interface. Embeddeble video player views are not counted (i.e. when the player loads), however when a user hits play, the plays are counted as page views. Players with auto play turned on count as a "page" every time they are loaded.

What isn't counted?

Any page that isn't shown to the public, in particular, any page within the admin interface.

What is the billing cycle?

Billing cycles run in 1 month cycles, starting on the day you sign up for a pro package.

What if I go over my Page Views?

If you purchase the 1,000 page views and you are close to running out of page views, we send you an e-mail warning you that this is about to happen. In order to make sure your service isn't interrupted to your visitors, we allow you the chance to purchase additional page views to cover that month. Should you exceed the limit and choose not to add additional page views for that month, you will revert to the Free/Basic offering until your pro services renew for the next month.

What about Ad Share, how does that work?

If you choose to share ads with us, we'll place ads on your page ever OTHER time a page loads. Along with this, you can't put ads anywhere on the page other than using our designated ad spaces. However, if you buy out the ads, you can put ads anywhere, as many as you like.

Does the the Page View amount count ad share pages?

Yes, its for total page views, both with your ads and with ours.

Can I buy additional units between 1k, and 5k?

Yes, if you've purchased 1,000 page views and it's getting near the end of your one month cycle, and you've just gone over you can purchase another 1k (for $9.95, or $14.95 if you want to control the ads) or revert to Free/Basic for the few days before your next 1,000 pages kick in. it's very flexible so you can use it to meet your needs as you see fit.
