When you run a company - you don't do it alone. You have your team, your customers, your partners, your friends. Everyone has a stake. Everyone cares. Everyone has an idea or a thought. And we like it that way. The evolution of video from a passive one-way advertising medium to an engaging, immersive community experience is a thrilling journey for those of us who've been in this for a while. It's a dream come true, and it's the emergence of an inevitable change that has us engaged and sometimes overwhelmed with the shear scale of what we're involved it. So when we launched this chapter, and closed our first round of funding with our new partners... we knew it was going to be a bit like riding on the space shuttle. Big burst of rocket fuel. Heavy G forces for a bit, then we reach our orbit... and things level off for a bit as we get accustomed to life without gravity. Strangely, it happened just that way.

With David Rose from Rose Tech Ventures and New York Angels and Dan McKinney from Next Stage Capital joining the board, the frequency of the Board meetings was turned up... and this band of Magnify.net advisor's became a regular fixture in the corporate conference room. Is it bad to say that Board Meetings are fun? Well, with CFO Chuck Johnson CTO Simon Cavalletto and CEO Steve Rosenbaum (me) along with David and Dan - we've been able to create a brain trust that is engaged, often demanding, always asking us to stretch the team and the platform - and doing it with good humor and serious objectives at the same time.
