September Feature Release

September 04, 2007 - Steve Rosenbaum
Here's the list of September Features... enjoy.

Enhanced Editorial / Admin Options:

- Administrators can now designate selected users for a secondary "limited admin" role know as a site "editor". Site editors have access to the content management tools required to approve and reject videos, but they can't change site design, domain name, or advertising settings. (Admin > Account > Users)

- Administrators can now edit user playlists, and can create shared playlists that all administrators can easily add to. (Admin > Content > Playlists)

- Administrators can set a minimum number of reviews that must be received before a video can be included in the "top rated" list. (Admin > Advanced > Content Listings)

Customer Modules:

- We've released a new home page module for network channels that provide links to other channels in a network. (Admin > Design > Home Page > Network)

- Also included is a Network Playlist module that lets playlists from one channel be shown and linked to on another channel's home page. (Admin > Design > Home Page > Network)

- We've enabled customization of the user profile pages, so Admins can ask site specific questions of their users. (Admin > Account > Profile)

Support:

- We updated the channel support pages make it easier for end-users to find the FAQs or request help. (Support link in channel top nav)

- We've created a new "I need a site built" link, and are developing a network of site builders to handle out-sourced channel construction and customization. (Magnify.net home page)

Statistics:

- Improved stats tracking and stats reporting features. We've replaced our old stats tracking with a more accurate pixel tracking solution that will give site admins more accurate and consistent data. (Admin > Account > Usage History)

- We've also upgraded the stats reporting pages with a more graphically intuitive color-coded bar chart reporting interface. (Admin > Account > Usage History)
